Expected Glory is the first studio album by American singer-songwriter Juanita Williams. The first single, “Empty Me”, was released on November 12, 2017. A native of Peoria, IL, Juanita R. Williams is most passionate about ministering to God’s people through song. A licensed Minister, and daughter of a pastor, the Late Rev. Lenill Thornton, ministry is no stranger to Williams. The only girl and youngest biologically of 7, and one of 13 total, including siblings through marriage, Juanita comes from an incredible legacy of Singers, Musicians, Teachers and Ministers.
Over the years, Williams has ventured out using the gifts God has given her in various ways, from acting in stage plays, serving as a choir director in previous phases of her life, providing backing vocals for various session and live performances, and being a worship leader & praise team member at her local ministry St. Paul Baptist Church, in Peoria, IL.
Throughout her career, Juanita has provided vocals for such groups and artists as Isaiah Thornton & Holy Nation, Crusaders For Christ (CFC), St. Paul Baptist Church and most recently Pastor Deveraux Hubbard. Juanita has also shared the stage and opened for the likes of artists such as: Kurt Carr, Ernest Pugh, Vickie Winans, Anita Wilson, Wes Morgan, Bernard Harris, Marvin Mumford, Israel & New Breed and Liv Warfield. Juanita is currently venturing out on faith to pursue a career in solo artistry to minister with the voice and testimony that God has given her to share.
